The torque transducers in our product assortment have a nominal measuring range of from 0.1 N·m to 300 kN·m, non-rotating and rotating at speeds of up to 40,000 rpm.
Torque transducers
The HBM torque range includes torque transducers and flanges, as well as non-rotational torque transducers for measuring reactions. Slip-ring or non-contact signal transmission is used exclusively. A proven range of couplings is also available for torque transducers.
Torque calibration
The first laboratory ever to be accepted into the DKD (German Calibration Service) was at HBM in 1977. Accreditation of the torque DKD laboratory took place on July 13th, 1990. For many years HBM was the only calibration authority for torque in
Germany and practically set the national standard.
Couplings
Flexible couplings make torque transducers easier to install. A flexible coupling also decouples unwanted interference effects from the shaft, ensures accurate measurement and extends service life.
Cables
To ensure trouble-free electrical connection for transducers, HBM supplies cable sets made up in accordance with EMC guidelines. The amplifier cable is either unterminated or supplied complete with male connector, according to choice.
