MVD2555 - Carrier frequency amplifier for panel mounting
Many measurement tasks in the field of industrial test bencher and automatic production/assembly processes can be solved very simply and reliably with the MVD 2555. Force, pressure, displacement and torque transducers based on different technologies can be connected to the carrier frequency amplifiers which are particularly stable and insensitive to interference.
The wide measurement frequency range and the digital filter adjust-able over a range of steps enables the best adaptation to the measurement problem. Apart from the actual amplifier function, two minimum/maximum stores and four limit switches with PLC-compatible outputs are available. The measurement output can be provided through a freely scaleable analog output and via the serial RS232C or RS485 interface. Freely programmable control inputs and outputs facilitate trouble-free communications with automation systems.
- For applications in process and test facilities
- 4.8 kHz carrier-frequency amplifier for S.G. half and full bridges, inductive half and full bridges, LVDT, piezoresistive and potentiometric transducers
- 100% menu-driven control via LCD display
- Four limit value switches
- Scalable analog output
- Peak value stores (min, max, peak-to-peak) and instantaneous values, envelope curve
In addition to the industrial amplifiers HBM provides the appropriate ePLAN macros. They allow easy and error-free integration of the instruments in the project planning of the automation environment.
ePLAN Electric P8 is an engineering tool for modern CAE software supported by a database and facilitates consistent project planning, documentation and administration of automation systems. ePLAN macros enable users to easily integrate the process controllers in their project planning. Parts data, drawings and pin assignments are available in ePLAN Electric P8 immediately after import of the macros.
The free macros are available on the documentation CD included in the process controllers' scope of supply and can also be downloaded here.

Candid data sheets: We keep our promises.
Precision in series: This also applies to the accuracy of the values specified in our data sheets. Ideal conditions can often be theoretically attained based on the values given, but our data sheets focus on realistic standard assumptions - such as those likely to be encountered in your application. Therefore, please consider this when comparing our data sheets with those of other manufacturers.

Ricoh UK Products Ltd has worked with Mechatronic Solutions and HBM in developing a one-piece assurance system for the automatic assembly of its latest toner product for the European market.
Component parts in rolling mills are subjected to high stress. If e.g. bearings wear out prematurely, product quality decreases. Since this happened at a manufacturer of aluminum products, SKF decided to use HBM's PMX amplifier...
Modern smartphones and operating units provide fascinating new features and user friendly design. But these devices must pass through an extensive development and testing process before they ever reach consumers.
Switching on and off reliably – over the entire service life of a switching device. Guaranteeing this is the task of end-of-line test benches in switching device manufacturing.
Modern industrial production would be unthinkable without presses. The range of products extends from coins to large automotibile parts. Presses run at up to 800 strokes per minute. The quality of the workpieces that are produced...
Depending on the final product, steel must be available in a special shape, alloy and quality. The quality of the outgoing products, sheet steel, is largely determined in production.
