Why the name change to Genesis HighSpeed?
The name had to be changed for trade mark reasons. When Spectris plc (HBM's holding company) acquired LDS, certain rights to names were not transferred. From now on, the brand Genesis HighSpeed represents proven, high competence in high-speed data-acquisition.
Is it really only the name that changes?
Yes. In future, the former LDS Nicolet products will be marketed under the brand "Genesis HighSpeed". In addition, however, we will continue to use the current product names for tried and tested products such as GEN5i (Genesis5i), GEN7t/16t, GEN2i, LIBERTY, ISOBE5600, Perception.
Will HBM continue to develop Genesis HighSpeed products in the future?
Yes. The same established and experienced research and development team continues to develop Genesis HighSpeed products. In addition, HBM's considerable expertise and resources in test and measurement technology will speed up the engineering process and support the business on a global scale.
