
SoMat eDAQ Digital Input/Output Layer
The SoMat eDAQ Digital Input/Output Layer (EDIO) is an extremely versatile layer that can measure digital inputs/outputs, pulse counters, quadrature decoders, vehicle bus and GPS. The EDIO offers 24 channels that can be used as digital inputs/outputs with 12 additional channels for wide-range inputs.
Integrated in the digital channels are 18 configurable pulse counters. One layer can also support up to two independent vehicle bus interfaces via the use of Vehicle Bus Smart Modules.
The GPS communications port is designed to work with SoMat GPS devices.

The SoMat GPS Receiver (EGPS-5HZ) is a commercial WAAS-enabled GPS receiver with a 5Hz update rate. The receiver continuously tracks and uses up to 12 satellites to compute and update position. Available channels include Latitude, Longitude, Altitude, Speed m/s, Speed MPH, Speed Knots, Heading, Year, Month, Day, Hour, Minute, Second, Nanosecond and Number of Satellites.

The SoMat GPS Receiver (EGPS-5HZ) is a commercial WAAS enabled GPS receiver with a 5 Hz update rate.

J1708 Vehicle Bus Module
The SoMat J1708 Vehicle Bus Module (EVBM-J1708) conditions J1708 vehicle network parameters to be synchronously measured by eDAQ and eDAQlite systems.

J1850 VPW Vehicle Bus Module
The SoMat J1850 VPW Vehicle Bus Module (EVBM-VPW) conditions J1850 VPW vehicle network paraemters to be synchronously measured by eDAQ and eDAQlite systems.

KWP2000 Vehicle Bus Module
The SoMat KWP2000 Vehicle Bus Module (EVBM-KWP2000) conditions ISO 9141 / KWP2000 vehicle network parameters to be synchronously measured by eDAQ and eDAQlite systems.

Pulse Conditioning Module
The SoMat Pulse Conditioning Module (EPCM) is ideal for magnetic pickup type transducers.

M8 Hex Nut Wrenches
The SoMat M8 Hex Nut Wrenches (HDW-0034-00) work with the SoMat M8 transducer and extension cables for both the eDAQ and eDAQlite.
