DD1 - Compact Strain Transducer with High Accuracy
The basic unit is a displacement transducer which converts the movement of a probe tip into an electrical signal. Conversion is carried out with the aid of strain gauges inside the unit, located in a full bridge circuit on the measuring probe tip.

The specially developed strain gages application technology, compensation circuit and choice of materials ensure that the unit will have great accuracy and a long service life.The basic DD1 unit includes a calibration blade and fastening screw. You can use accessory kits DD1/ZA and DD 1/ZV11 to make the basic unit into a clamp-on strain transducer. This clamp-on strain transducer can be attached to round or flat specimens made of metal or plastic and the clamping force of the measuring instrument on the specimen can be finely adjusted via the mounting bracket.
