As the first German company to be accredited to ISO 9001 (in 1986), HBM has always developed its products in line with international quality standards.

In 1977, HBM was the first company in Germany to be accredited as an official "DKD" (German Calibration Service) calibration laboratory.
HBM calibrates measuring instruments to customer order, guaranteeing reproducibility to DIN EN ISO 9001 standards.
In 1991, the HBM Test Laboratory was one of the first in Germany to be accredited for EMC and equipment safety. Alongside testing HBM's own products, the laboratory offers its services externally to customers, such as accomplishing the required tests to obtain CE certification.
HBM's environmental management system has enjoyed DIN ISO 14001 certification since July 1996. This underlines the Company's achievement and continued determination to act in an environmentally responsible way.
