High pressure transmitter has alternative output
HBM has introduced its latest P2V high pressure transmitter with alternative voltage and current outputs; previous models were available with only voltage output.
HBM has introduced its latest P2V high pressure transmitter with alternative voltage and current outputs; previous models were available with only voltage output. The P2V is available for nominal (rated) pressures from 200 bar through 5,000 bar with either 0.5...10 V voltage or 4…20mA current output.
The monolithic steel measuring body of the P2V eliminates weak spots even when subjected to strong dynamic loads because there are no welded seams or clamped connections to the measurement medium.
The P2V is intended for measuring ranges for very high-pressure applications such as internal forming and water jet cutting.
The P2V is designed with an integrated high-quality, low-noise DC amplifier that includes TEDS transducer identification. This has a cut-off frequency of 4.5 kHz (at -3dB) and is thus especially suitable for fast processes such as precise process analysis or control loops.
Short-time pressure peaks are reliably mapped while a mechanical adapter enables direct connection to high pressure pipes for ultra-high pressure applications over 2,000 bar. The P2V helps ensure optimum work piece quality by, for example, enabling potential feed and wear to be accurately adjusted during water jet cutting.
