Type C18 reference transducers comply as standard with equipment class 0.5 as per DIN EN ISO 376. This international standard specifies the calibration of force-proving instruments used with uniaxial stress. Also available is a version of the reference force transducer that complies with the maximum equipment class 00.
he C18 is supplied complete with a mounting base and a thrust piece as force application parts. Because mounting is then simple, the user has the benefit of safe, reliable calibration.
Typical users of reference force transducers include metrological institutes, companies providing force transducer calibration as a service, and establishments using vast numbers of force transducers that have to be calibrated regularly.
