Calibration of inductive displacement transducers for creep investigations under radioactive conditions
In the nuclear power industry there is a requirement to carry out creep tests on radioactive materials.
In the nuclear power industry there is a requirement to carry out creep tests on radioactive materials. The question of possible effects of the radiation on the parameters of the applied measurement equipment is then important.
This article describes calibration equipment developed specially for the testing of inductive displacement transducers for creep tests on highly radioactive test objects.
