The U5 force transducer is convincing not simply from the measuring point of view, but also because of its practical fitting advantages. In test benches, press-fit devices, presses and test devices, just as in other industrial applications.
Because mounting the U5 is extremely easy: for pressure and tension measurements without an adapter, directly on the structural element. For compressive force measurements with a pressure adapter. For tensile force measurements with a tension adapter and with one or two knuckle eyes.
Thanks to its flange connection with centering, the U5 also has advantages over transducers with a central inside thread. This structural advantage makes direct fitting easier, allows easy-to-fit connectors, clear alignment and a trouble-free bolt preload. The U5 also transfers greater bending moments and transverse forces than a structure with pins or inside threads. The U5 through-holes fit metric and UNF threads.
