DQ809 - Thermocouple amplifier
The DQ809 thermocouple input module enables thermal measurements to be taken in a reliable way. Eight thermocouples of any type can be connected to the amplifier using a thermal adapter. The thermal adapter provides a mini thermocouple plug and an external cold junction for diverse thermocouples types. Sampling rates of up to 10,000 measurements per second can be implemented.
Key features of DQ809
- 8 inputs that can be individually configured
- Type J, K, T, S, E, B, N, R, C thermocouples
- Sampling rate up to 10000 measurements/s
- 24-bit analog-to-digital converter per channel for synchronized measurements
- Active low-pass filter
- DC supply voltage; 1 device via USB (5 V), otherwise 6 - 28 V
- Compact design.

Candid data sheets: We keep our promises.
Precision in series: This also applies to the accuracy of the values specified in our data sheets. Ideal conditions can often be theoretically attained based on the values given, but our data sheets focus on realistic standard assumptions - such as those likely to be encountered in your application. Therefore, please consider this when comparing our data sheets with those of other manufacturers.

What ensures new speed records in windsurfing? A research project by students of Vienna University of Applied Sciences took spectacular measurements to find the "perfect fin", an important component of modern surfboards.
The idea of tolls differentiated by the road damage caused is currently tested using a prototype in Romania. On board: HBM measurement technology.
Why do the shells of giant turtoises have such widely-varying shapes on different Galapagos islands? A research project in the Netherlands should answer this question by using HBM measurement technology.
Kratos Safety is a leading manufacturer of fall arrest equipment. Both in its products and in its tests the company focuses on safety - and relies on data acquired using the complete measuring chain from HBM.
Brakes of trams must function safely and reliably. HBM's espressoDAQ system ensures safe servicing of tram braking systems, even in mobile service applications.
