Influence of the Coronavirus Outbreak on the HBM Supply Chain

We would like to inform you about the precautions that we are taking to limit the effects that the COVID19 (coronavirus) may have on our global supply chain.

Our HBM production facility in Suzhou resumed operations with reduced capacity on February 10, 2020. Nevertheless, due to the requirements of the local government and the applicable hygiene regulations, we are currently unable to produce at full capacity. We expect HBM to return to full capacity by mid-March 2020, depending on how government restrictions develop.

HBM has a robust and stable supply chain and we have initiated immediate countermeasures in accordance with our current business continuity plan. These include monitoring the situation at our Chinese suppliers in order to ensure that the supply chain remains as efficient as possible. These also include actions to find alternative logistical routes wherever possible. There are emergency plans in production and logistics to minimize delivery interruptions. In addition, we are continuously monitoring our inventory in order to make the best possible use of our factories.

An assigned task force is monitoring the further development on a daily basis and reacts to changes in the situation with immediate effect.

As you can see, we are doing our utmost to try to ensure on-time delivery under these difficult circumstances.

March 12, 2020 - this page will be updated in case of changes.
