Medior / Senior FPGA design engineer

Key areas of responsibility
For the GHS product line we are looking for an experienced FPGA design engineer who will become responsible for the design and implementation of FPGA code on GHS products. The FPGA design engineer will be active toughout the full lifecycle of the design phase, from concept through implementation and release including maintenance on active products. Relevant keywords are VHDL, high speed digital data, digital filters, DDR3, PCIe, JESD204b, DMA, JTAG. The FPGA development engineer will work in close cooperation with the local production engineer the analog, digital, firmware, software and mechanical design engineers as well as with the remote production team..
Education, Knowledge, experience, personal qualities
- Bsc or Msc degree in electronics, physics or comparable with proven experience.
- 5+ years of experience with FPGA design, a senior engineer is preferred.
- 5+ years with digital electronics design and architecture
- Experience with Vivado, Modelsim, Altium is a pré
- Hands on, is able to / used to work from prototype to production phase.
- Experienced in electronics development techniques.
- Team player, but also able to solve problems individually.
- Accurate, practical and result driven personality.
- Good communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing.Bsc or Msc degree in electronics or physics or comparable with proven experience.
