The Somat eDAQ Isolated Thermocouple Layer (EITB) measures temperatures on eight channels of isolated thermocouple signal conditioning. Thermocouples come in several styles of dissimilar metals, or calibrations; and the EITB is available in the four most common calibration types (J, K, T and E). Each channel has individual cold junction compensation with isolation to 500V.
All eight channels on any one layer must be of a single calibration type.
