AK22: Covering Material for Strain Gauges — Strongly Adhering kneadable Putty
AK22 is a tough, kneadable putty that adheres to virtually any material. The putty is kneaded by hand onto the measuring point. It is recommended to use AK22 covering putty along with ABM75 aluminum foil, or even with a third layer of SG250 silicone rubber, to achieve optimal measuring point protection in many applications.
Please note that very high acceleration (e.g. rotation) might damage the AK22 covering putty due to its mass.
AK22 covering material for strain gauges can be stored at room temperature for approximately 2 years.
