Pre-wired Strain Gauges: Fast, Safe and Convenient to Use

Leave the welding to HBM and order pre-wired strain gauges. You no longer need to solder cables to the strain gauges, thus avoiding a potential source of error. HBM has set up a “fast lane” service for small orders, which helps provide you the strain gauge you need with the cable of required length within only 4 days.

Furthermore, new materials have been used in making the stranded connection wires more flexible and now easier to use. The temperature range has also been expanded to 150°C, opening up new applications. 

Advantages

An advantage only from HBM is the fluoropolymer-insulated stranded wire at the strain gauge which prevents the stranded wire from sticking during installation.
