Pre-wired Strain Gauges: Fast, Safe and Convenient to Use

Leave the soldering to HBK and avoid a potential source of error by ordering pre-wired strain gauges. Find an overview of available RoHS compliant strain gauges with the different cable configurations below. Frequently ordered configurations ("high runners") are available as finished products in small quantities (for packs containing up to 10 strain gauges) from stock. Less frequently ordered configurations (“mid runners”) are available as assemblies and are finished and shipped to order in small quantities (packs containing up to 5 strain gauges) within 10 days. Configurations that are not requested as regularly ("low runners") have a delivery time of 12 weeks.

HBM strain gauges comply with current RoHS requirements, and new materials have been used in making the stranded connection wires more flexible and easier to use. TPE insulated cables allow the use in a temperature range between -40°C and 120°C.

High runners:

Frequently requested strain gauge configurations that are suitable for most common measurement tasks are referred to as high runners. They are available from stock within two days for packs containing up to 10 strain gauges. Larger quantities can be available quickly, provided there is sufficient stock.

All strain gauges with a cable and a 50mm fluoropolymer insulated stranded wire are designed in four-wire technology as standard. If required, these products can also be ordered as variants with 3-wire technology. All versions come with open cable ends and without a connector/plug.

Mid runners:

Strain gauges with cables, a number of which are always available in stock and can be finished quickly.

Lead time: within 10 days for packs containing up to 5 strain gauges. Minimum order quantity: 1 PAK

Low runners:

Strain gauges with cables where production starts when the order is placed.

If the assemblies are not available, a delivery time of 12 weeks will apply. Minimum order quantity 5 PAK.
