Apprentices and students familiarizing themselves with measurement technology benefit in particular from practical experience: Using strain gauges (SG) and different sensor types - e.g. for force, pressure, torque, or weight - in combination with industrial measuring amplifiers from HBK, multiple applications can be created for education and training purposes. This applies to the fields of mechanical or electrical engineering but also to informatics or automation.
Apprentices particularly benefit from the fact that the measuring amplifiers feature all the latest interfaces and protocols and the HBK sensors represent the industrial standard. In this way a variety of applications can be easily developed and quick learning results are guaranteed. Apprentices start with simple measuring tasks and work their way up to more complex tasks where the measuring amplifiers (e.g. PMX) operate simultaneously as a combined measurement system with data storage and Soft-SPS (IEC61131).
