NG120: Covering Material for Strain Gauges – Nitrile Rubber
NG120 nitrile rubber is a brown, single component covering material in a tube designed to protect strain gauge installations. The solvent adhesive is oil, fuel and plasticizer resistant and cures in contact with air at room temperature.
It is important to ensure that the completely covered measuring point does not come into contact with strain gauge cleaning agents containing acetone (such as 1-RMS1), as NG120 can be removed with acetone. NG120 cannot be combined with PU140.
NG120 covering material for strain gauges can be stored at room temperature (20°C +/- 5°C) for approximately 15 months (from date of shipment from factory).
- Covering material for strain gauges, consisting of nitrile rubber in a tube
