Join us for one or two of our seminar days on the 22nd and 23rd of November in Waalwijk, the Netherlands. to increase your skills on measurements using strain gauges and DAQ.

  • Day one will be focused on the topic fundamentals of strain gauge installation.
  • Day two is about the basics of data acquisition. In this, half day, session we will deal with basic topics like carrier frequency excitation, the influence of cabling and basics on Wheatstone bridge configurations.Finally we will discuss the various ways to configure your measurement chain.

      

All technicians and technical engineers can benefit from these seminars, beginners and experienced ones.

 

 

Program

 Day one, strain gauges:

  • Principles of stress measurements with resistive strain gauges
  • Principles of stress measurements with optical strain gauges
  • Demonstration on the application of resistive gauges

 Day two, data acquisition:

  • Basic topics such as the influence of resolution
  • How to select the proper sampling rate based on your input signal
  • What is aliasing and how to avoid this
  • What types of low-pass filters are generally used in DAQ
