End-of-line test stands play an essential role in the testing and quality inspection of components that must meet very stringent reliability requirements or complex units such as gearboxes, seat adjusters, braking systems or complete turbines and (electric) motors. Exact measurement data acquisition, evaluation and storage is essential for quality purposes to ensure that the components meet the requirements. To this end, the test benches must be equipped with suitable sensors and industrial measuring amplifier systems. HBK delivers not only the necessary sensors and amplifiers, but also the matching software.
Robust torque, force, pressure and displacement sensors record all key parameters during the test cycles. The ClipX and PMX measuring systems can be used to set up an online monitoring system that will immediately stop the test cycle, thereby preventing damage, in case of severe failures. Internal measurement data preprocessing allows the simultaneous transmission of all diagnostic data to a system control unit and of all measurement data to a quality data acquisition system. In this way everything is clearly documented to ensure a comprehensive component inspection.
