Modern data acquisition software needs to be rugged and reliable, allowing for more unattended testing with black-box recording features. Integration of additional measuring sources, such as GPS receivers, cameras, and vehicle bus data via CAN or CAN FD along with analog sensors allows for more streamlined data collection.
Test engineers can begin the post process analysis immediately, make decisions faster, and collaborate more effectively if they can access test data immediately or if that data is streamed to a server directly while the test is operating.
