How to Test Electric Vehicle Drive Cycles

Every vehicle comes with an estimated range and fuel efficiency. These numbers are determined by testing a vehicle through a series of real world driving situations where the vehicle is accelerating, cruising, stopping, and starting. These drive cycles require accurate measurement of the vehicle energy usage for certification, and very detailed measurement during development to optimize performance of the vehicle. This Lunch and Learn will introduce drive cycles and how they can be tested.
