Precise and Dynamic Rotational Speed and Torque Measurement for Testing Modern Drives
The 4-channel digital MX460B is the dynamic and precise pulse and frequency measurement module of the QuantumX series for measuring torque, rotational speed, angle, position and displacement. This module also enables the pulse width of digital signals to be measured. Whether in test benches used in the development of electric drives, combustion engines or hybrid drives or, in general, in machines with rotating shafts, the MX460B allows for flexible and reliable use.
In combination with the cutting-edge torque sensors from HBM, high-resolution digital frequency signals of torque and rotational speed can be made available using complex inter- and extrapolation - at the same time providing maximum dynamics. Changes in measurements can be analyzed up to the sensors' maximum signal bandwidth without any problems. This ensures an entirely digital measuring chain that tolerates errors.
In addition, sample rates of up to 100 kS/channel and a signal bandwidth of up to 40 kHz are proof of the MX460B's high performance. In particular for applications in the test bench, the module allows torsional vibration analysis and differential angle calculation, with the possibility of forwarding the calculation results in real time.
This module can be used for other applications in the following industries: automotive, aviation, railroads, shipping energy generation, mechanical engineering and research and development.
